In addition to lion, dragon, and unicorn heads, I craft traditional Buddha heads (大頭佛 / Dai Tou Fut) and other papier-mâché items used in religious celebrations, temple processions, and funerary rites.
All pieces are handmade using the same ancestral techniques of bamboo framing, paper layering, and detailed painting that honor Southern Chinese traditions.
I also provide accessories to complete a lion, dragon, or unicorn, tails, crowns, pants, shoes, and more.
A head remains a simple object until it undergoes the Eye Dotting Ceremony (開光 / awakening), which I can perform in my workshop or at your location.
