Piece 01 / 02
Traditional Hong Kong Fatsan “Liu Bei” lion
Bamboo, horsehair and bristle, silk pompoms

Each lion head is rooted in Southern Chinese tradition and made entirely by hand: hand-cut bamboo for the frame, layered and shaped paper, and paint applied with care for symbolism, colour harmony and the client’s wishes.
Traditional finishes — sheep or rabbit fur, horsehair, trims, pompoms and eyes — complete the work. A head can be displayed with or without internal lighting, hung on a wall like a painting, or set on a stand as sculpture, while remaining fully functional for lion dance troupes.
Lions can be delivered with or without tail and trousers. The eye-dotting ceremony (開光) can be performed in the workshop or at your location.
